Huge news with this release, as we now have BETA support for Data Transfer Objects (DTOs)!

DTO support is done with MapStruct and is fully documented here. It is still considered of BETA quality has it involves a lot of change in the code. As always, we follow our “release early, release often” motto, and will gather feedback during the next weeks before removing the BETA tag.

Update your version of JHipster with:

npm update -g generator-jhipster

And then you can update your project when you run again

yo jhipster

You can also update your entities by running again the entity sub-generator, for example if your entity is named Foo

yo jhipster:entity Foo
