JHipster release v5.7.0

This new minor release comes with 55 closed tickets and pull requests. It has 2 major improvements:

  • JHipster now uses UTC timestamps everywhere thanks to #8284. This follows our goal of generating full-stack, high quality applications. This will cause a few issues in existing applications, as we now force UTC (for example in the Hibernate configuration and in the Liquibase scripts), but the migration should be easy as this doesn’t touch a lot of lines of code.
  • The JDL has been refined, firstly by fixing several bugs (including in #8547), and secondly by adding support for deploying applications straight from the JDL. Depoyments only work with Docker-based tools for the moment, so we support Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Openshift and Rancher Compose. If you want more information the documentation is already updated in the JDL documentation.

自动升级

在已存在的项目上使用JHipster upgrade sub-generator自动升级:

升级Jhipster版本:

npm update -g generator-jhipster

然后升级子生成器:

jhipster upgrade

手动升级

选择手动升级, 需要先升级你的Jhipster版本:

npm update -g generator-jhipster

如果你已经有了一个项目, 将会继续使用当时项目生成的Jhipster版本. 如果需要升级你的项目, 你需要先删除node_modules文件夹再运行:

jhipster

更新你的项目和所有的实体类

jhipster --with-entities

你也可以使用实体类子生成器挨个更新你的实体类, 例如你的实体类名字是_Foo_

jhipster entity Foo
